Knitting vicariously?

My sister is a knitting machine!  Since my own knitting has pretty much stalled at the moment (I haven’t done anything in a few weeks!) I thought I’d share some of her recent knitting projects:

A wee hat for C – no picture yet cos its still a wee bit big

and here are some soakers and longies modelled by J, a very active 1 year old!

  1. I stitched over the wool after I had finished the soaker. Is that what you mean by duplicate stitch? The clover is the same and took me FOREVER!

  2. Greetings from a frosty Canada!
I just stumbled across your blog, and what cute stuff you’ve got posted. I’m just wondering if you know what patterns your sister used for the soakers and longies? I’m hoping to make some for my son. So far I’ve only had time to whip together a soaker from an old sweater and am otherwise using the poly covers but I would much prefer to use a wool covering as much as possible. Plus the longies would be oh so cozy for our Canadian winter weather! Thanks very much.
